SIGN the Statement of Solidarity and Support
We Support Equality and Diversity in Tennessee.
We stand with Shelbyville, Tennessee, and all immigrants, refugees, the disabled, LGBT, women, black and brown people and all people of color, Jewish and Muslim people - all of whom have been the target of discriminatory and bigoted hate speech and action by racist hate groups and neo nazis who are now planning a Unite the Right 2.0 rally "White Lives Matter." These are the same groups that organized Charlottesville Hate Rally where Heather Heyer was murdered.
After learning about the hate groups using Tennessee for rallies, conferences, and gatherings, we find them to be antithetical to the tolerance and inclusiveness we support. Therefore, we condemn League of the South, American Renaissance, Vanguard, NS -Nazis, and all racist hate groups as not representative of the People of Tennessee.
We condemn white nationalism and white supremacy which is the foundation of these hate groups' philosophy.
We support the vocal, visible, and peaceful expression of dissent to their racist ideals on
